CREATE EXCITEMENT FOR NETFLIX NEW FRENCH ORIGINALS
In March 2019, Netflix released its new French sci-fi drama: Osmosis. A show about a technology that helps people find their soulmate by collecting data from twist to this well-known love song.their brain. But finding true love comes at a price.
For the launch of the trailer on social media for Valentine’s day we created for Netflix an original music in collaboration with Chilly Gonzales, the Grammy Award winning pianist. We then partnered up again with him to cover the timeless French hit: “Message personnel”, revisiting live with a unique twist to this well-known love song.
GONZERVATORY
CAPTURE, MIX & POST-PRODUCTION
In April of 2018, in partnership with Arte, a European tv channel, we followed with Victor & Simon the #Gonzervatory: an eight-day Music Performance Workshop in Paris. Seven carefully selected young musicians joined the grammy award winning pianist Chilly Gonzales, for a unique educational and creative experience.
Our mission was to document the life and progress of the Gonzervatorians through masterclasses with guest professors, late-night impromptu jams and intimate concerts or bigger shows.
The priority was to not disrupt the creative magic that was happening. So we worked in a small team of just four people (a director, a producer, a sound engineer (us!) and an editor) and we embedded ourselves with Gonzo and his students. Being so close to the artists allowed us to capture unique moments of spontaneity. We didn’t work with a script, we didn’t have a set list of images or sound to capture. We followed the flow and improvised. We filmed and record in the day and edited in the evening with one thing in mind: capturing the harmony that was unfolding between Gonzo and his students and the moments of grace and genius it was creating.

MIX & POST-PRODUCTION
In June 2019, Netflix released its new French comedy show: Family Business, telling the story of a down-on-his-luck entrepreneur and his family who race to turn their butcher shop into a marijuana café, after learning France is about to legalize pot.
